Great Sand Dunes National Park
Weekend trip to Alamosa and the Great Sand Dunes on 5/31-6/2. Great trip by all! We drove the trailer to Alamosa and parked at the Gilmore ranch while the Fundalinskis and Conners stayed in Pat and Tom’s house. This was Mike’s first trip to the dunes (he was working the previous years), but Colton and my’s 3rd annual trip. The Sand Dunes were just perfect. The river was flowing and the temperature was mild. Colton loved making sand castles and dragging the sled around in the river. We had dinner with Alamosa aunties and uncles on Friday night, too! No stop to Alamosa is complete without sharing memories about my cousin Erin and visiting her memorial bench.
Also, we’re moving!! Again!!
Mike and I are under contract to purchase my childhood home in Longmont from my mom and dad. We couldn’t be more excited!! It is a great house to raise a family and the neighborhood is just awesome. We spruced up our Berthoud house for sale and it’s on the market waiting for its next owner. Here’s to thinking THIS summer was going to be the relaxing one. LOL
